Dear Older & Bolder Member,

Thank you for clicking on the site of the Irish Senior Citizens Parliament.

We know many of you were strong supporters of Older and Bolder and we hope that you will continue that work into the future. We wish the staff of Older and Bolder every good wish for the future.

If you wish to continue your efforts and good work on behalf of older people then please consider joining the Senior Citizens. We advocate with and on behalf of Older People on many of the areas and issues which affect all your and our lives.

The Irish Senior Citizens Parliament advocates with and on behalf of Older People to government, public bodies, service providers and civil society generally on issues affecting their/our lives such as Income, Access to all services essential for positive ageing with emphasis on the implementation of the National Positive Ageing Strategy.

The Parliament is a genuinely effective voice for Older People in Ireland A VOICE which heeded.

  1. I think that we now need a new type of protest to get across just how angry old people are at the erosin of our means of living a half deacent life.
    Old people can do this without leaving home. All old people who have peposit accounts with the banks should consider closing them on the 15th of December in protest at how they are being treated. That would take some of the gloss off the Governments exit from the bale out.
